We would like to reassure you that despite the second National Lockdown, we are still open for business. NHS England asks us to speak to all patients that request an appointment with their doctor on the telephone first and to limit footfall in the surgery to protect the most vulnerable. However, where appropriate, we are seeing patients face to face. We are also using text messaging, emailed photos and video consulting.
We would also like to request that our staff are treated with respect. Whilst the vast majority of patients have been incredibly supportive and understanding during the pandemic, we have noticed an increase in hostility and aggression towards our staff in recent months.
